With the UNI/PDR 125:2022 gender equality certification, SICIM puts people first. All of them.
As the Gender Gap Report 2024 has shown, we will need 134 more years to achieve full gender equality. This places the finish line well beyond the 2030 target established by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially if we look at our country. In fact, Italy’s ranking has decreased by almost 10 places from 2023, from 79th to 87th. These figures remind us how vital it is to keep working in order to close the gap and to promote actions with the aim of achieving balance in people’s roles within our society, by respecting gender differences and harnessing their value.
Therefore, we are proud to have been awarded the UNI/PDR 125:2022 certification, which officially recognizes SICIM’s efforts toward gender equality and attests its concrete commitment for an inclusive workplace. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential values, and we are constantly working to remove cultural obstacles and barriers by establishing relationships based on trust and respect.
For all these reasons, this is more than just a certification: it is a crucial step to allow our Company’s growth to be more and more virtuous, ethical, and responsible.
