A GLOBAL, SHARED CERTIFICATION
The starting point for our developmentSICIM has been certified in conformity with standard ISO 45001 for its Occupational Health and Safety Management System since 2009 and in 2011 also obtained ISO 14001 certification for the Environmental Management System implemented in the company. The approach to Health, Safety and the Environment implemented by SICIM is extended to all the staff of our clients, subcontractors, visitors and suppliers involved in our activities.
Each company activity is performed with a view to full protection of persons with the lowest possible environmental impact. Our beliefs in this sense are not an achievement but rather an essential prerequisite for all our activities.
AN INTERNATIONAL APPROACH
The certifications apply to all our sites around the world The scope of the SICIM certifications refer to all the company activities: ‘Engineering, procurement, construction and installation of pipelines and associated plants for gas, oil and water’.
For the company, the ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications are the first step towards the continual improvement of its services. The common purpose is thus replicated in all sites, aiming to minimise the impacts on people and the environment.
SICIM staff and management are fully committed and suitably trained to implement the company policies.
Since 2014 the certifications have also been extended to all sites in which the company works, bringing improvements and advantages to guarantee greater efficiency in the operations relating to the review, control and conservation of resources and simplification of procedures.

SICIM AND ISO 50001 CERTIFICATION:
A New Milestone in Energy EfficiencyIn 2025, SICIM achieved the UNI CEI EN ISO 50001:2018 certification, reaffirming its concrete commitment to responsible energy management. This important recognition aligns with the company’s strategic vision to be a key player in the green transition toward a low-emission economy.
The certification, awarded to SICIM S.p.A., covers all company activities: design, procurement, construction, and installation of pipelines and plants for the energy sector.
To support the certification process, SICIM developed the necessary technical documentation and conducted a detailed Energy Analysis to assess the organization’s energy aspects. The data collected enabled the creation of energy models, performance indicators, and continuous improvement plans.
ISO 50001 is a voluntary international standard that defines the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an Energy Management System, helping reduce environmental impact and achieve decarbonization goals.
