For the second consecutive year, SICIM opens its doors to the students of the Primary School of Busseto on the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
The "Sicim Junior" event was organized within Italia Loves Sicurezza Association framework and involved about 150 children. Divided into 4 groups, the young participants received upon arrival the Personal Protective Equipment necessary to visit the Company's operational departments. In Sicim they discovered different workstations: the mechanic, the carpenter and the welder, and they learnt how to recognize risks, safety signs, PPEs and preventive measures to be adopted.   Following they had a junior fire training activity where a specialized company showed the correct behavior to be taken in case of emergency. Finally an overview experience aboard a typical pipeline equipment: the Sideboom. The day ended up with the delivery of celebratory plaques to each class and of diplomas to all pupils together with the "Manual of the Little Leader in Safety"...to keep them busy with their just started journey to a safer world!
