On the World Day for Health and Safety at Work 2023, SICIM wanted to enhance the slogan launched by the International Labor Organization “A safe and healthy working environment is a fundamental principle and right at work”.
We firmly believe that through continuous training we can generate a shared culture, well aware of how the issue of safety concerns everyone, no one excluded, from those who work in more dangerous contexts such as construction sites to those who may find themselves in potentially risky conditions at home, without distinctions of gender and age, from the youngest to the oldest.
This year, all SICIM sites around the World had the pleasure of organizing safety events involving employees, schools and local communities, while in Busseto, our historic headquarters, we opened our doors to all the fourth and fifth graders of the primary school of the town, to raise awareness on the typical risks that can occur both at school and at home.
