SICIM is proud to be part of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance.
The initiative is part of the EU's efforts to guarantee European industrial leadership and accelerate the decarbonisation process of production areas, promoting investments capable of stimulating the production and use of clean hydrogen.
SICIM can offer decades of know-how, acquired by building traditional process plants which enable it to be at the service of the energy transition and applications for the production and use of green hydrogen in particular.
Working towards the goal of climate neutrality by 2050, thanks to the Paris Agreement, the Alliance aims to develop hydrogen and deploy it as a profitable, competitive, and viable energy vector. This milestone will be achieved through the implementation of a series of multi-year projects, as well as through the mobilization of resources, aimed at the installation of at least 6 GW of renewable hydrogen electrolysers in the EU by the end of the year.
All actors in the hydrogen value chain of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance - which includes member states, industrial districts, NGOs, trade unions, innovators, research and technology organisations, investors, and members of civil society - are firmly committed to contributing to the deployment of renewable and low-carbon hydrogen.
