After 12 years of working on projects all over the world, in 2022 we returned in Italy, thanks to our involvement in a project for the modernization of the national gas pipeline network.
Today we are particularly proud to strengthen the bond with one of the municipalities that brought us back home; we’ll do it by contributing to the creation of a new urban forest of 5,000 native trees and shrubs.
The initiative, promoted by Arbolia Società Benefit and carried out in partnership with other companies in the sector, will make it possible to capture up to 698 tons of carbon dioxide and give back up to 510 tons of oxygen to the atmosphere over the next 20 years. Once fully grown, the forest will also be able to absorb up to 509 kg of PM10 per year, contributing to the improvement of the ecosystem and to the quality of life for the local community.
