SICIM announces the award of the “Big Smoky Pipeline Project” for Pembina in Canada, through its affiliated Steel River SICIM Pipeline Ltd (SRSP), a company established in association with the Alberta based Steel River Group.
The Big Smoky Pipeline project is part of the phase VII of the Peace Pipeline Expansion, to be constructed to increase the capacity of the existing natural gas liquids and condensate pipeline, to accommodate growing customer demand.
The awarded Contract includes the construction of 110 km of a new 20-inch pipeline through the Peace River Country, including the installation of 7 HDDs and multiple trenchless. Construction will start at the end of June 2021 with the in-service date scheduled for mid-December 2021.
