SICIM at the forefront of a strategic LNG export project in Argentina

SICIM, in partnership with Victor Contreras, has been awarded a significant portion of the works for the EPC project promoted by the Southern Energy consortium, aimed at developing the infrastructure required for LNG exports from Argentina.

The project includes the construction of a 472 km, 36-inch diameter pipeline connecting Tratayén (Neuquén) to the Gulf of San Matías (Río Negro), with a transport capacity of up to 27 million cubic meters per day.

The works will involve approximately 1,400 personnel and more than 315 heavy machines, with completion expected in early 2028. The project will make a meaningful contribution to local economic development, fostering employment and opportunities while respecting the communities involved.
