LOOKING TO THE FUTURE: KAZAKHSTAN

Four new contracts in Kazakhstan worth a total of 300 million for SICIM. The company was awarded four contracts – two by Tengizchevroil Llp (Tco) and two by Tenizservice (Llp) – for the implementation of an impressive complex of infrastructures to connect the large oil field in Tengiz, one of the largest deposits discovered in the recent past, in the North West of Kazakhstan, with the Caspian Sea.  The Italian company has been working in Kazakhstan since 1998, where it performed the first works on behalf of Eni in the Kashagan project. Today it has over 3,000 Kazakh employees from all over the country, accommodation for over 4,000 people and an equipment and machinery fleet worth over 100 million dollars, which this year will be increased by a further 20 million dollars of equipment.
