Contract Managers
Work location: Colombia,
Mexico and Gulf area
Type of work: Project duration approx. 24-36 Months with
prospect of being relocated on other projects
Start date: March/April 2012
Job description
The candidate shall be able to
address all aspects related to the Contract with the Client, suppliers and
subcontractors during the execution phase as well as related to joint venture
agreements and subcontracts, exploiting opportunities, mitigating negative
consequences of particular contract conditions and reducing the risks of
potential disputes.
The Contract Manager shall be
responsible:
* To manage all contractual aspects, variation order issues, and invoicing of the main contract.
* To set up and to administrate all contracts related to the pipeline construction
* To draft and to track all outgoing correspondence in order to ensure consistency with the contractual obligations;
* To analyze and track all incoming correspondence to ensure the preparation of responses in accordance with the contractual obligations;
Requirements* University degree.
* Good knowledge (written and spoken) of English and another language among French, Spanish, Arab.
* At least five years' experience with commercial project work in a multicultural engineering and industrial or construction environment (EPC contracts)
* Previous experience in Contract Management or Administration in the Construction Industry highly advantageous.
* Good interpersonal, strong communication skills and a highly self-motivated individual is a must
* Flexibility for travels/visits to customers, suppliers and project teams
